Account Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you organized? Are you good with managing clients? Do you like the face-pace creative world? Then we have the job for you. Magnum Integrated Marketing is a premier center city ad agency with clients across the country. We are looking for a new team member to handle our Philadelphia Region clients.

 

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating advertising campaigns. You will work with Magnum's management to determine your clients marketing goals and establish their annual budget. You will manage the timelines for the creative, media and production teams to ensure that campaign strategies are implemented on time and within budget.

Ad agency experience a BIG plus.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Must be a good communication skills (both written & verbal)

  • Must be a self-starter and self-manager

  • Must be able to work as a team member

  • Must be VERY organized

  • Must have a good personality and attitude

Requirements:

  • Designs original creative elements

  • Produce, manage, coordinate and deliver on all production aspects of each assigned project

  • Highly proficient in all current design software: Adobe Creative Suite CS6: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • BA/BS in graphic design

  • Two to five years of graphic design experience preferably from a design or advertising agency or sports and entertainment entity

  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)

  • Knowledge of AfterEffects and flash is a plus Solid design sense; thorough understanding of design theory including principles such as color, typography and composition

  • Competency with DSL Cameras and Photo Manipulation

  • Knowledge of print production and the pre-press process

  • Familiarity with social media and digital user experience design

  • Experience with client relationships, understanding client needs and meeting deadlines

Graphic Designer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.

  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance.

  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.

  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.

  • Oversee daily AP/ AR operations.

  • Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.

  • Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

  • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

  • Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

  • E-Silent Partner Software knowledge is a plus.

Controller

Media Planner Buyer

Work to develop strategic channel/media approach that will meet client objectives. Experience with multi-media channels including print, radio, TV, OOH and digital. Develop a considered vehicle list (i.e., considered sites, publications, lists, etc.) Lead in the development of the recommendation document. Utilize media research tools and resources to aid in campaign development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related field

  • 2 to 3 years experience in buying/ planning media

  • Experience working directly with clients

  • Experience and proficiency working with technology

  • Excellent phone and customer service skills are a must

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed

  • Attention to detail and follow-through

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Creativity and enthusiasm

  • Strong understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with potential and existing customers

  • Maintain relationships with media outlets and networks

  • Find new marketing opportunities for our clients

  • Deliver campaigns via our internal media such as web real estate, instore music, instore tv

  • Collect and traffic media orders

  • Coordinate copywriting, art layout, and production as well as minute ad changes on an ongoing basis

  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

  • Contribute to agency team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

Required Experience:

  • Media Planning/Buying Experience: 3 years
